We aim to publish accessible stories, without sacrificing story quality or character development.

Our books feature:

  • Short chapters. A long chapter can be exhausting to readers who are working their socks off!

  • Shorter novels. Shorter novels can be less intimidating to struggling readers. And finishing a novel of any length is a huge confidence-booster!

  • Expertly edited, which means that care is taken with plot and characters.

​​

  • Content is matched to the age of the reader not their reading level. This information is clearly noted on the back cover of every book.

  • Stories approved by our target audiences!

  • Dyslexia-friendly fonts. There are many dyslexia-friendly fonts, including the clownish Comic Sans. Sans serif fonts tend to be more readable, and our books are typeset in Lexend. (Our dyslexic test-readers love Lexend!)

  • Cream-coloured paper to reduce visual stress.

​​

  • Generous spacing to stop pages from being over-crowded. This also gives shorter stories the illusion of being longer. Many struggling readers are aware that they are reading "skinny" books compared to their peers.
